As a mother of two, it was essential for her to find an office and doctors that would be able to help with her children’s needs. When Yadira first started dentistry, Dr. Rodef taught her how to check a patient in, master insurance protocols, and offer excellent customer service to all patients. She shares Dr. Rodef’s passion and ensures patient care is her top priority every day. Anna graduated from Verdugo Hills High School and attended Los Angeles Valley College. In high school, Anna used to play basketball. Now, she enjoys watching her children fall in love with the game themselves. For Anna, family is her number one priority. She has four kids and an English Bulldog named Rocky.

Before joining the CDFZ team, Anna had 10 years of experience in the dental field working in general dentistry and dental implants. Her love of children and desire to try something new inspired her to pursue a career in pediatric dentistry. As a mother, Anna understands that all parents want to make sure their kids are in good hands. With 4 years of experience working alongside the CDFZ staff, she can say with confidence that when a parent trusts CDFZ with their child’s oral health, they are in caring, capable hands! Luz began working in the dental industry at 16, filing patient records and making calls. At age 19, she was promoted into a management position and transitioned into data entry and billing. After working at the CDFZ West Covina location, Luz offered to help open the Eagle Rock office before moving to the Montebello location where she is the current manager. 

Luz loves the warm welcome and family-friendly feel of CDFZ, which is why her position means more to her than an ordinary job. Luz’s goal is to treat every staff member and patient like family and she approaches every day with a positive attitude. In addition to spending time with her 26-year-old son, she enjoys going on spiritual retreats with her church leadership group and attending church events. Jodi graduated from Union Institute and University with her bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice Management with an emphasis in Homeland Security and earned her Associate of Applied Science/Diploma in Dental Assisting from Concorde College. She has been working in the dental industry for 20 years but is a new addition to the CDFZ team.

Jodi believes that teaching children good habits at a young age is paramount for overall health, maturity, and character development. She enjoys the team atmosphere and endless opportunities for growth at CDFZ and takes a relatable approach when treating children and consulting with parents. Jodi believes that ultimately, everyone wants the same thing – what is best for their loved ones. She does her best to provide that to her patients on a daily basis.

Jodi always puts her family first, but her husband and daughters are jokingly convinced that she loves the family’s five dogs the most. She enjoys hiking and being outside with her family and their dogs in her free time and is such a tremendous fan of the Marvel Universe that she couldn’t choose a single favorite!

She began working in the dental industry at age 15 as a file clerk for a general practitioner. Araceli has 38 years of industry experience, including in pediatric and orthodontic specialties.

Araceli has been a part of the CDFZ team for about a year and a half and loves that there is never a dull moment. Her approach to parents and children involves treating them as she would treat herself; an echo of the CDFZ motto. In her free time, Araceli enjoys reading, cooking, traveling, and spending time with her children and parents. With 22 years of experience in the dental field, Erika has attended numerous courses and received extensive training through Sterling, 1-800-DENTIST®, CareCredit®, Invisalign®, and Nobel Biocare in orthodontics, dental implants, periodontics, oral cancer, myofunctional therapy, soft tissue management, billing, coding, and management. Erika began her career at age 19 and has worked in multiple specialties but finds pediatrics the most rewarding. She loves the opportunity to help children build healthy habits that will last a lifetime.
Her approach is always focused on parent and patient education so they understand the importance of dental health, preventative treatment, and how it affects a child’s overall health. Erika has been with the CDFZ team for two years and loves the practice’s commitment to providing high-quality pediatric dentistry care to all children.

She has been with CDFZ for six years and loves leading her fantastic team and providing excellent care!

Betsy admires how CDFZ continues to show its appreciation for the team’s hard work. She chose to focus her career on pediatric dentistry specifically because she enjoys the opportunity to provide quality care for every patient.

Omar

Omar obtained his bachelor’s degree from the University of California, Santa Barbara. Since his mother is a dentist, he has always been around dentistry. At the age of 18, he started working in the dental field. Omar’s desire to assist others drives him to provide each patient with the best care possible.  His team, which he considers his family, is made up of diligent people whose main focus is the patient.  

Omar, who recently joined the team, appreciates that CDFZ treats staff and patients as family and that the owner puts the needs of the patients first. Omar has been recognized as the volunteer of the year and offers his services to one of the nearby school districts. Omar feels a great sense of pride in his hometown of Oxnard in which he has been living in since the age of 10.  

Omar is a die-hard fan of the Atlanta Falcons and loves football on Sundays. He adores watching movies, eating delicious cuisine, and going camping in tents rather than cabins or RVs.
